I am a fashion lover of clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories from high to low end, from casual to couture. What captivates and inspires me is attention to detail and appropriate fabrics used to create a piece of garment or accessory.
To me fashion is art and to be able to create something beautiful, unique, stylish and trendy is artistically inspirational and admirable.
Let’s be clear though, being fashionable means keeping up with the latest trends and being stylish is to be able to put together an outfit that looks stylishly gorgeous. I’d like to think that I am stylish because I like to be creative with my wardrobe and also because I can’t afford to buy new clothes all the time. Let me know if you disagree with this statement.
What’s in my wardrobe
Admittedly, I have a lot of clothes, shoes and handbags and this is not bragging, it’s just simply because I love fashion and dressing up. I live in a tiny two-bedroom apartment and my bedroom is 3 x 3 metre in size so I don’t have a lot of wardrobe space. Most people have a bed stool bench, chest of draws and a TV in front of their beds. I have my clothes racks hanging from left to right wall, and floor to ceiling, fully exposed. I suppose choosing outfits to wear everyday can be quick sometimes when all the clothes are displayed in front of you. A walk-in robe the size of my bedroom would be a dream come true.
My wardrobe is very colourful consisting a variety of:
- work and corporate
- casual
- floral dresses and jumpsuits
- evening
Items I lack of or need more of:
- coats (I only own two)
- jackets
- knee high boots
- hats
Notice the items that I need more of are for the autumn/winter month? In Brisbane it’s 80% warm all year round and winter is so mild that coats are not necessary. You will hardly see me in winter or layered outfits for this reason.
