Where I Live

Brisbane, Australia has been my home city since I arrived in Australia in 1988. I love Brisbane because it’s not too busy and not too quiet, a perfect balance for having a family and children or anyone who wants to experience a bit of everything without the stressful hustle and bustle lifestyle. I’m very proud to call Brisbane home and feel extremely grateful to live in a city that has so much beauty, life, multiculturalism, accessibility and so so much potential.

Growing up I have lived in most parts of Brisbane except for the Northside and don’t think I ever will! Traffic, unfamiliar territory and lack of freeways are the main reasons why I don’t like the Northside.

Currently, I live in a two-bedroom apartment with my two daughters within inner city south. I love the inner city lifestyle because it’s so convenient and being so close to everything including my work, kids’ school, shops and restaurants.

Apartment living really suits me because it’s secure and forces me to live minimally, which has turned me into a neat and clean freak!

Other cities I have lived in

  • Ulsan, South Korea – 2014 (eight months)
  • Perth, Australia – 2012 – 2013 (18 months)
