Fashion Show for Ukraine – 25 June – Brisbane
A beautiful and multicultural event bringing the fashion and multicultural community together to support the millions of people and dogs who are suffering in the Ukraine from the war. The charity event raised money for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and Soi Dogs.
BrisAsia Fashion Festival – 22 March 2022 – Fortitude Music Hall – Brisbane
BrisAsia Fashion Festival was produced for the first time by Fashion Festival Qld to showcase local Asian designers, champion intercultural local Asian designers, champion intercultural dialogue and collaboration with indigenous artists. The venue’s staging and runway was cleverly set up with front row views for each allocated guest.
This fashion event was my first collaboration with fashion designer Sofia Moreno Marcos. Sofia is extremely talented where her designs are very unique, bright, edgy, fun and sexy. Every piece is different with a twist of something and a wow factor.
Sofia handpicked for me one of her standout collections from the Spring/Summer 2022 which showcased at the Brisbane Fashion Festival, Next Gen Show in August 2021. It was a knockout short hot pink dress with a plunging neckline and a ginormous bow on each shoulder. The dress was stunning, super fun and sexy. The overflowing compliments received on the night was empowering.
